Every Sunday come rain or shine and on bitterly cold mornings we set up the stand at Camden Lock Market. Sometimes I hadn’t slept because I’d been printing. It was so cold standing on the concrete at my stand. I put so many layers of clothes on. Unpacking the stuff from the bin bags and laying it out on the stand was exciting. Every week I’d have a new print. That was the beauty of silkscreen printing. I’d have an idea on Monday, photographed, developed, exposed and printed on almost anything for the following Sunday.
